  2. Oh yes, please enter me in your lovely giveaway! Hmmmm... an entertaining idea, huh? I bought a pretty tin caddy not long ago and have stocked it with pretty paper products and sturdy plasticware. That way, if unexpected company comes and I do not care to deal with dishes, I just pull my handy caddy out of the cabinet and everything is ready to go. My guests think that I staged it all for them not knowing it is my emergency go-to.

  4. Please enter me in your giveaway, yea!!!! As for a entertaining idea, well I love to decorate my table in the fall time with a orange or white pumpkins vases. Cut the a hole in the top of a pumpkin like you are going to carve it, take out all seed, do not cut a face in the pumpkin, fill it with florist foam and arrange some flowers in the pumpkin and add water. You can also use the small little pumpkins for place settings for each guest, I like to paint a nice rectangle with chalkboard paint and then write my guest names on their very own pumpkin, they can take it home as a party gift.
Hope you enjoy this little idea!!
    Thanks

  5. I love magazines! I rarely entertain, except for family holidays, but I work at a hospice and am responsible for many social events, retreats and gatherings throughout the year. I need new ideas badly, so this sound perfect!

  7. This magazine sounds great! I love stampington publications! For an entertaining idea I would say make it so your food and entertainment is not so fussy that you don't get to have fun as well.

  8. I love to MINGLE! Thank you Paulette for sharing your copy too. My way of entertaining is actually only with food. I can seem to be able to follow a team for any holiday or occasion. My only team is FOOD. I imagine a whole barn table covered with grape leaf and serving cheeses, olive, fresh baked bread and VINO! Salute....I hope to win a copy of Mingle. Ciao Rita

  10. A new Stampington publication....how very exciting. An entertaining idea is to take a handmade potato basket that I picked up in Maine several years ago and fill it full of various back issues of Stampington magazines. I put this in the guest room and get raves from those who have never seen the wonderful publications. For the fall I also took a table cloth size piece of muslin and randomly hand painted fall colors and used various leaf stamps and types of paint to embellish it. I used gesso to adhere real leaves of various shapes and sizes. The finished cloth makes a beautiful table cloth or table runner. I'm self taught but owe all my inspiration and new found skills to Stampington publications. It's like having an art school in every issue. If I don't win a copy of Mingle I will try and locate it. It's unfortunate that these publications are hard to find in our area.

  12. I am not single but very ready to mingle. I mean meeting more friends and entertaining them. As for an entertaining idea, I remember my friends and I meet for an afternoon tea, with theme of laces and hats! The ladies had fun showing-off their lovely, colorful dainty hats! Then we get to vote. Who has best hat and wins the prize!
I am not lucky at winning but I wish I could get this exciting prize!!!
    Have a good weekend!

  13. How delightful!! I'm addicted to the "party plan" blogs and this looks amazing. My daughter turned 17 yesterday and we'll have a shin-dig for about 20 here tonight. Going to make "S-more" pops with marshmallows, melted choc, and crushed graham crackers on sucker sticks! The take-away is a s'more kit made with ghost peeps!! Thanks for the chance to win and meet you, I came through OC Cottage.
