Anthropologie New York City

This is one of my all time favorite haunts for inspiration!

Hand crafted owls, perched on tree branches

greet you as you enter...

The layered abundance of displays are a feast for the imagination!

I would love this cart to store all the ceramics I've created

that are taking over my studio!

Great use of plumbing pipes and the amazing paper background!

Sweet and unexpected lace insert on this sweater!

I have a thing for boxes and drawers...

and these are so fun!

Fabulous layered frame wall!

I love the feminine feel of this display!

This is such a great table for a working studio!!!

Even the employees and customers add inspired style!

.
Just wanted to share the creative inspiration...

Inspiration, Vintage Fabrics

Inspired by the sweet collection of vintage fabric remnants

so generously gifted to me by Kristen at Shabby Vintage Mom

Can you imagine my surprise and delight when I arrived home

to find this gift on my doorstep ?

I wasted no time ripping open the box

and getting excited about the lovely patterns and colors

I choose to create a ceramic dish in the same genre

using her color scheme as a thank you to send off to her.

Thank you Kristen

Collage creation becomes a greeting card

.
Knowing art helps heal hearts and lives

I have created a greeting card for a dear friend and fellow creative soul who is

going through a most challenging time right now.

Like most of us she still appreciates snail mail and hand crafted creations.

It may be difficult to see the name of the boat painted on the side.

It's called Free Spirit !

The inside reads,

merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily...
( here you need to pause and allow the reader to finish the thought )

and on the left side pasted inside a puffy white clouds

on a sky blue background are the words,

DREAM BIG !
