About Me

My photo
summerland cottage
It was March of 1982, that I opened the first lifestyle store in the LA area, which operated for close to 20 years. J.P. Adams and Co. carried furniture, carpet, wallpaper, lamps and lighting, custom gifts, art, home accessories, and provided interior design services. I also became a licensed interior designer with Orange County ASID and participated in several highly successful design houses. I have been contracted for product design and enjoyed working with numerous national, and International companies on successful new product designs. To feed my curiosity, I went back to school and became an accomplished artist, with artistic creations showcased in over 50 national magazines along with my restored historic cottage by the seashore, that was featured in a 14-page spread in Romantic Homes Magazine. Many of my ceramics, watercolors, and oil paintings have been exhibited and sold at the Sawdust Festival in Laguna Beach and were featured at the Laguna Art Museum and an art gallery on Forest Ave. in Laguna Beach.
